This week you read two articles that should inspire thoughts on the markers of quality qualitative research. Choose ONE of the two articles (Cahill or Pascoe) to examine in detail. Use Tracy’s 8 “big tent ideas” outlined in class (and available on Canvas) to assess whether the reading you selected is quality research. What are its strengths and weaknesses, if any? In particular, use this article as an opportunity to start thinking through the ethics of conducting research of this sort. Was this project ethical? Why and/or why not?
